TXT Carbon (www.txtcarbon.com) has teamed up with NICO ARCHAMBAULT, (winner of CTV's So You Think You can Dance Canada) to design and sell a limited edition t-shirt. A portion of all proceeds collected from the sale of these t-shirts will be donated by TXT Carbon to a cause that is close to Nico's heart - PREVNet.

PREVNet
- the Promoting Relationships and Eliminating Violence Network - (www.prevnet.ca), is proud to have Nico and TXT working together to prevent bullying and promote safe and healthy relationships for Canadian children and youth.  Bullying is what happens in relationships when power and aggression are combined to cause harm.  Bullying can be physical or verbal. It can happen face-to-face, behind another's back, or through cyber bullying.  It includes malicious gossiping, exclusion, racial harassment, sexual harassment, and homophobia. Everyone needs to work together to create a positive environment of peace and to promote healthy relationships, so that the violence of bullying can end.

The Family Channel (www.family.ca) has recently embarked as a major sponsor of this event, and will be doing extensive promotions with the Nico t-shirt.
The Family Channel is a major supporter and sponsor of PREVNet.
In November The Family Channel will be supporting anti bullying week through their campaign called STAND UP; during which they will be distributing the exclusive Nico t-shirt to many participating schools. They are also planning a huge media blitz, having schools across Canada submit their ideas for "a rally against bullying".
A TV commercial with Nico will air 3 times a day from September through November, on the family Channel, in order to promote a World Record endeavor of the biggest WAVE they will execute during anti bullying week with all participating high schools.
The Family Channel will also support the sale of this t-shirt through its website.

This cause is very personal to Nico. He has experienced bullying first hand growing up, and understands how it can destroy a childhood and affect the person as an adult. However, Nico is living proof that surviving bullying can lead to inner strength and achievement. He is proud to be associated with PREVNet and hopes his story will reach thousands of children affected by bullying today, and thousands of adults who can help make the difference.
